We have significantly impacted food insecurity through our FEED (feed, empower, engage, develop) framework. This framework focuses on accessing nutritious food, empowering communities, engaging in public education and advocacy, and developing brand awareness. With 500+ partner programs and initiatives such as the school pantry and backpack programs, we are actively fighting hunger and promoting food security in our 50-county service area.

FEED

In fiscal year 2024, we distributed more than 46.6 million pounds of food, providing more than 38.8 million meals. Additionally, through programs like CSFP — the second largest food bank-supported program in the country — we distributed 132,488 boxes.

We also engage in food rescue efforts. Coming from a poverty-stricken area, I understand the importance of community support firsthand. Volunteering with the Morehead State University football team has been a deeply rewarding experience for me.
Laurence, Volunteer
We appreciate this pantry for everything they do to help. It is such a good help to many people. After a work injury ended my career as a pharmacy technician, these programs have been essential for me.
Patty, Neighbor
When my food stamps run out, the food pantry provides extra meals, ensuring I have three square meals a day. Situations aren't always obvious, but God's Pantry Food Bank understands community needs. The kindness of the people makes visits meaningful.
Gary, Neighbor
The Mobile Market makes shopping convenient for us, especially for those of us with mobility problems. We appreciate having the market right in our backyard, and they offer a good variety of products.
Cliff, Neighbor
We live in an area where there aren’t many jobs. People don’t realize the actual impact the pantry has on us. It’s like a holiday once a month, it really does help.
